Josie is a pretty young cat who has had kittens in the past. she came from a quiet home but sadly didn’t have much human interaction. Josie was a very protective and attentive young girl mum and her kitten (she only had one kitten in each litter) has now been homed. Since being in a foster home she has let her fosterers know that she likes to be around them and cries when she is on her own, so clearly wants some love and attention but on her own terms. She will tell you when she’s had enough cuddles and stroking. She is what we call naughty tortie! Josie would probably suit being the only cat in the home and has never met dogs before, so probably best being the only pet in the household. Because she can be a naughty tortie she’d suit a home without young children. Josie has obviously had an isolated life without much love, fuss and attention but she clearly craves this, but doesn’t have the positive experience of knowing how to respond appropriately. She’s a work in progress, bless her. Josie is now neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She eats well and enjoys her fosterers playing with wand type feather toys with her…she’s fun to play with! We’d love to see Josie loved and settled and accepted on her own terms. Good luck little one.
