Shiro is a very special cat who’s had a tough journey to get to be the beautiful boy you see in the photo.
He was found in a disused garage, trembling with fear, filthy dirty and frail. Our volunteer didn’t waste a moment before gathering Shiro up in his arms and taking him into our safe care. It’s been quite a journey for Shiro; we don’t know who owned him or how he got to be so neglected.
Shiro was sweet and gentle from day one, despite all he’d been through. His fosterer has given him the time and care to restore himself and Shiro is now ready for a forever home, he so deserves that. He’s a gentle, sweet-natured and loving little cat who happily plays with his toys and loves climbing his cat tower. Shiro’s fosterer describes him as ‘such an affectionate, chilled little boy who loves a head rub’.
We don’t know if Shiro has met dogs before, but seems to enjoy the company of other cats. He’d suit a quiet home where he’d have company and a readily available cosy chair or warm lap to snooze on. Shiro is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
This lovely, gentle boy is good to go. And in case you’re wondering, Shiro means white in Japanese.
